A.Mourning.Widow

The world of sharing myself on the internet is new to me but I’m willing to give it a try.

In November 2024, my husband passed away after a 2 year battle with colon cancer. Each day since then has been challenging. I am learning to navigate the world of single mom., working mom and widow.

While he was sick, I wrote semi-privately about our lives, his treatment and our family. Writing was an outlet I didn’t know I enjoyed until I stopped.

I have two elementary aged children, I work and I am their sole source of parenting. Some days are fun, some days are hard, but everyday we try to honor the memory of their dad/my husband.
